Alcohol dry out the mouth enough to cause mouth cancer?

I was wondering if drinking alcohol often (about every 2 or 3 days) in small amounts. not getting trashed. just a little drunk. //// was wondering if it would be really bad for your mouth? and could eventually cause mouth cancer. also , was wondering if Alcohol kills brain cells every time its consumed? and does alcohol drinking benefit you in any way?Alcohol dry out the mouth enough to cause mouth cancer?
Many studies have shown that moderate (one to two ounces) of alcohol a day (especially as red wine) is beneficial to ones health. Your concerns about alcohol drying out the mouth and causing cancer are close, but not quite on. Alcohol does negatively effect the positive bacteria in the mouth and therefore makes the mucus lining more susceptible to infection. But, if it is in moderation (see above) this is not a true danger. Smoking is a far greater risk. YBIC
yes
it is a killer all the way around
usually you get mouth cancer from cigarettes or any tobacco product. I would think that alcohol actually kills the germ since it contains alcohol. and yes alcohol does kill some brain cells but we have billons of them and just by simply breathing air your killing brain cells. There are different types of alcohol and depending on the amount you drink it can be hazardous. after all alcohol is a poison but if you drink a glass of red wine everyday it can prevent cardiovascular attacks. back in the day alcohol was actually the best thing to drink since they didnt have a good water supply.
no it cant! but you can get other various cancers from drinking too much alcohol (ie liver cancer, heart problems, etc)
