Anyone know the symptoms of having a pinched nerve in your neck, or back?

Anyone know the symptoms of having a pinched nerve in your neck, or back?
Pain around the area of the pinched nerve. You can also have numbness of extremities I believe proximal to the area of the pinched nerve.
