Anyone know why?

was wondering why only your hands and feet prune up when you're in the water for a while and nothing else... at least i have never noticed anything ele prune up when im in the water for a long time. Can anyone give me a reason why or point me to some info that could help me out?Anyone know why?
You don't have thick layer of fat below the skin of your hands & feet.
Interesting question.
Your hands and feet have certain oils and body fluids on them. When you wet them along time they oils are washed away causeing you skin, which is usally tightly pulled, wrinkles because there is less stuff there to plump them up. Nothing else prunes because they have less oil and tighter skin.
Could it be that the soles of your feet and the palms of your hands do not have hair growing on them??????????? could have something to do with it
The water washes ayaw the oil substance on your skin and this allows the water to fill in in place of the oil.
