I'm having surgery on March 22nd but I'm going on a little spring break trip from March 14th-17th. I'm pretty sure that I'm gonna be drinking the whole time. I've heard that you shouldn't drink alcohol 2 days before surgery but I've also heard that you shouldn't drink alcohol 2 weeks before surgery. Which one is correct?Alcohol before surgery?
Simply call the anesthesia dept of the hospital you will have your operation in and ask them.
I know you want to enjoy your vacation but I doubt it is worth losing your life over it.
Just check with the people who know.
