any remedies at all for coldsores? I need it gone by friday!

The new stuff called Abreva. You get it at the drugstore, and it's a tiny, tiny little tube, and it costs $17 and change (Canadian), but boy oh boy it works! You see a difference right away, and the cost is way worth it, considering it also lasts probably a year or more. By friday? That's pushing it, but it will be half the size and half the redness by fri for sure. I promise! Good luck!

Lysine speeds up the healing time. If you get cold sores often, this would be a good choice because it helps to prevent them as well.
With already existing ones you should get ointment from a licensed practitioner in combination with lysine.
I have a bottle of stuff called "ViraMedx" from Merix (which I think is now marketed under the name "Releev"). It won't make it "gone by Friday" but it will shorten the outbreak and relieve the discomfort. If you get cold sores, you should give this stuff a try.
