no
There is, at this time, no cure for Parkinson's disease. There are several treatments available to help with the symptoms including drugs and physical therapy. Ask your doctor about the treatment that is right for your grandfather.
Since you are in India, you may be able to do this. Buy Kauncha seeds or Their powder from ayurvedic jadi-buti shop. Mix it with aswagandha powder in the ratio 3:1. Let him take this mixture starting 2 pinches 3 times a day licked in 1 tsp honey or 1 tsp ghee+sugar. Author prefers first option. Every week he should add 1 pinch to the dose. In 8 weeks he will be taking 1 tsp of mixture 3 times a day. Timings: after breakfast, after lunch, after dinner. If there is a headache, or heaviness feeling, slightly reduce the dose. Gradually dose can be increased. In 10 weeks his shake should reduce appreciably. If cost is not an issue, he can also take, simulataneously, 1 tab (125 mg) of Brihat Vat Chintamani Ras, licked in honey or ghee+sugar. This tablet is very costly, some 800/- Rs for 25 tablets.
Alternative name for Kauncha is Mucuna pruriens in Latin. Multinationals tried to extract active ingredient and make a patent medicine, but failed. Powder gives better control over Parkinsonism.
